About the Project
A collaboration between Jardín Botánico de Culiacán (JBC) and PARK8 to embed two interactive art installations into the garden's night tour in December. Art, nature and technology converge to transform the garden's spaces into experiences visitors walk through, contemplate and remember.
Piece 01
Raíces
de Luz
Here, earth, water and time move from within.
Agaves and succulents drink light in a desert that appears empty.
The work's patterns follow the pulse of hidden water and remind us that life also happens where no one looks.
Piece 02
Voice of
the Garden
Visitors converse with a wise 200-year-old Saman tree that responds with natural voice and synchronized visual effects in real-time.
The system uses voice recognition to listen, AI to generate responses with a unique Mexican sage personality, and Unreal Engine to sync voice with facial animations, lighting, and effects.
